And, talking about weekends... few things are better than those looong ones. Well, let me tell you--- yesterday, without planning it, I kind of started mine. It all began with lunch with friends at my friend Pili's place, a long long chatty lunch which lasted much more than expected, and ended up with the four of us in a jacuzzi. More like, all of us with our feet in a jacuzzi, since 3 out of 4 are pregnant and not supposed to get in hot waters.  

I baked these blueberry muffins I've mentioned before. I got the recipe from Agois Foto, -one of my favorite food blogs-, took the muffins proudly to my lunch, where I was received by a 37-week-pregnant lady who had just baked a broccoli phyllo pie and a mixed berries compote, and wouldn't sit down... why, yes, I was learning about late pregnant stamina! Which, apparently it does exist... 

I saved some muffins for my husband, and by the end of the day they were gone. All of them, CHAU! I would say this is a good way to assume they were pretty good. 

The day ended with a virtual Baby Shower my dear friends and sister planned for me, which was extremely sweet and unexpected. I loved it, and I love you guys. Yes, it was a good way to start a weekend...

 

Blueberry Muffins (adapted from Agois Foto)
